- R&D institutions
- Private and other establishments
The SSIP Cell at Gujarat Commerce College (Morning), Ahmedabad, plays a vital role in
fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among students. By organizing sensitization
sessions for new students, they ensure that everyone is well-acquainted with the Startup and
Innovation Policy (SSIP), as well as important concepts like Proof of Concept (PoC),
Prototyping, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
Inviting successful industrialists who have launched their own startups provides students with
valuable insights and real-world guidance. These sessions not only inspire students but also
help them understand the practical aspects of entrepreneurship.
Additionally, the hands-on training and industrial visits give students a chance to experience
the actual industrial environment. Visits to renowned educational institutions like EDII and
NFSU further enrich their learning experience, allowing them to gain exposure to best
practices and innovative ideas in the field.
Overall, the initiatives by the SSIP Cell equip students with the knowledge, skills, and
network necessary to thrive in their entrepreneurial endeavors.
